Sid Raghavan
As a physician executive with extensive experience in hospital operations, utilization management, regulatory compliance, and revenue integrity, Dr. Raghavan brings a unique perspective to his position as Founder and CEO of Mountaineer Health Advisors.
As the inaugural Director of Physician Advisor Services at a large health system, Dr. Raghavan developed an end-to-end internal physician advisor program where he provided leadership and expertise across 21 hospitals in Northern California, accounting for nearly 4,000 acute care licensed beds.
Working closely with enterprise leaders, Dr. Raghavan standardized work around second-level utilization review, denials management, payor peer-to-peers, and Medicare billing compliance, leading to millions of dollars in savings and revenue recovered.

In this role, he also served as an expert advisor in payer disputes, governmental claim audits, and admission policies and procedures.
Previously, Dr. Raghavan served as Associate Director of Utilization Management for a large managed care, multispecialty medical group. Prior to that, Dr. Raghavan held full-time clinical positions as a hospitalist in California and Assistant Professor of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Raghavan received his medical degree from St. George’s School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Healthcare Quality and Management with a subspecialty in Physician Advisory. He has also been appointed Fellow of the American College of Physicians and serves as Delegate to the California Medical Association.
